Meet Communication Specialist & Emotion Coach, Ellen Pritchard Dodge
Ellen Pritchard Dodge is a nationally recognized leader in communication and character education. Ellen
has published numerous books and articles, has given over 300 workshops, and teaches in public schools in
Northern California where her communication curriculum won a National Character Education award.
Ellen is the author of The Communication Lab : A Classroom Communication Program. This practical and
creative program changed the way educators view social-emotional learning. Presently Ellen is the Educational Director for Kimochis. Ellen is passionate about providing parents and educational professionals
with the social-emotional tools to build children’s character, confidence, and self-esteem. She is currently
collaborating with Charlotte Rice, of Innovations In Education, developing the Teachers Feel Guide for social-emotional development. Ellen collaborated with Dr. William Pollack, author of Real Boys, to create
classrooms that are academically and socially engaging for boys.
Ellen lives in Marin, California, with her husband and three daughters and is thrilled to share her knowledge
