WHAT you will need for this class:
● A folder for this course only.
● A notebook for this course only.
● Your textbook.
● A writing utensil of some kind.
● Your agenda book.
WHAT is expected of YOU:
​You are expected to be on-time and prepared for class everyday. You should be in the classroom
when the bell rings and be prepared to begin promptly. Being prepared includes having all the necessary
material for class AND a writing utensil. There is no reason you should be in class without a pencil or pen.
These will not be provided for you. Once class begins you will not be permitted to go to your locker and
get your materials. All homework and classwork should be completed in a timely fashion. We will be using
laptop computers from time to time as well as working in the computer labs, and there will be various
projects throughout the year along with tests and quizzes. It is essential that you make every effort to
have a good attendance record for this course; it will make your life much easier. You will have every
opportunity not only pass this course, but to achieve an excellent overall grade. You must pass this
course to acquire your high school diploma.

*Note: There will be NO extra credit assignments given at the end of the marking period or
semester.
*Note: To pass this course you must acquire a MINIMUM of 240 TOTAL MARKING PERIOD
POINTS FOR THE ENTIRE SEMESTER. Failure to achieve 200 TOTAL MARKING PERIOD POINTS
will ensure that you must re-take the course next semester or in summer school.
