Conference Objectives At the conclusion of the conference, the participant will be able to: Discuss the importance of competency and certification to the infection prevention profession. Discuss emerging technologies and trends in infection prevention and control. Describe findings of current state HAI collaborative and antibiotic stewardship assessments. Name two resources for developing an infection prevention plan and construction risk assessment. Special Information TARGET AUDIENCE: This program is designed for Infection Prevention professionals in all health care settings, including Infection Prevention Committee Chairpersons, Hospital Epidemiologists, Physicians, Employee Health Nurses, Emergency Response Professionals, Physician’s office employees, Microbiologists, Home Health personnel, Long Term Care staff, Non-Acute Care staff, Public Health personnel, Ambulatory Care personnel and other Health Care providers.
