● Setting refers to where and when a scene takes place.
○ There are lots of ways to think about setting.
● The questions that we can ask when we think of setting
are:
○ When is this event happening?
○ What is the geographical location of this scene?
● The setting of our lesson is Monday, May 4 at NHS in
Nutley, NJ in room 305; we could also say the setting is
planet Earth, or a spring day, or the 21st century, etc
