Situational Irony
• Situational irony is an outcome that
turns out to be very different from
what was expected.
Examples of Situational Irony

A hairdresser having a bad hair day.
A pick pocket stealing money from a
pick pocket that had stolen from
him.
• Stepping aside to avoid a puddle and
falling into a swimming pool.
• Donald Trump getting “fired.”
• Snooki lecturing at the ivy league
school, Rutgers University.
