from basic skills to advanced
techniques, each class building
on the one before, so you can
apply yourself to the discipline
of the fine art of acting.

Children love puppets! This
course is a great way to have
fun making theatre magic,
while developing verbal and
social skills. Students will make
puppets out of all kinds of
materials, and create stories
and voices to bring their
characters to life. A puppet
show will be performed for
special guests on the last

Rise to the challenge of acting
Shakespeare! Immerse yourself
in the world of Elizabethan
theatre! Students will learn
to meet the unique vocal,
physical, and creative demands
of Shakespeare’s text. In
the first term, students will
present scenes from tragedies
and comedies. In the second
term, the class will rehearse
and present their own version
of one of the bard’s timeless
plays.

Register and pay for courses when you book an audition time – if you are
not invited into the company you want, your payment goes toward your next
choice. Please bring a photo, resume, and brief cover letter to your audition.

The commitment level for these courses is high – students are expected to miss
no more than two prearranged rehearsals or classes all year.

Master Playwright Festival,
Ayckbournfest!, celebrating
the works of playwright Alan
Ayckbourn.

will also be involved in every
aspect of production, from
designing and building props
and costumes, to budgeting

SPRING BREAK THEATRE CAMP
March 28- April 1, 2016
Spring Break Full-Day Camp is five intense days spent
working with theatre professionals, making new
friends, and building a show from the ground up. The
energetic rehearsal process culminates in a large-group
performance, presented on the last day of camp to an
invited audience of family and friends.
Classes run from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily. Student dropoff begins at 8:30 am and pick-up goes until 5:00 pm.

Native Youth Theatre (NYT) specializes in theatre classes for
young people like your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, and
friends! Our exciting, supportive and FREE acting courses are
geared especially for young Aboriginal actors (ages 10 to 19) and
are designed to foster imagination, creativity, self-esteem and
self-confidence.
