GIGI BRAND
Gigi has been committed to performing from very
young age and began dance and musical theatre at
Footprintz Dance Academy when only 3 years old.
Over the years has she received awards for both dance
and musical theatre and has expanded her theatrical
abilities through courses with Frog Management,
drama workshops and performances at school and
Drama PEAC through the education department. Gigi
was awarded the Arts Award for Drama at South Perth
Primary School in 2011 and has just begun studying
Drama at John Curtin College of The Arts where she won a place in the Gifted
and Talented programme.
Gigi has performed on stage with the Australian Youth Choir, in various school
productions and for the past 10 years in Footprintz Dance Academy concerts.
Recently Gigi has had the good fortune to perform in short films and to try her
hand as a professional voice over artist with a national radio campaign and “on
hold” messages.
Gigi is extremely excited to be performing with such a professional, talented
and supportive group of cast and crew in Perth Theatre Company’s production
of Blackbird. She feels so grateful to be part of this wonderful production and
believes this is an amazing opportunity to learn and grow in her chosen career
path.
