COLLEGE OLD WTW – SELLERS GUIDANCE NOTES
A former Water Treatment Works together with an abandoned Water Storage Tank.
A right of access is granted over the land coloured brown.
Guidance notes in connection with operational and abandoned valves, meters and
pipework, where appropriate, and which are approximately indicated on the larger
scale plan as set out as follows.
Pipe work, meters, valves etc. as approximately indicated by a DOTTED
GREY LINE is currently operational assets which remain operational until
within 6 months of completion of sale South West Water will abandon this
pipe work and leave in situ. South West Water will reserve all rights of access
to adjust valves, read meters and repair, maintain and replace all these assets
until such elements are abandoned.
There are expected to be former and abandoned pipework situated in the land not
indicated on plan. This pipework will be left in situ.
Whilst South West Water has tried to ensure the accuracy of the plans showing
where appropriate the position of live and redundant tanks, pipework and fittings
within the boundary of the property, such accuracy cannot be guaranteed and South
West Water shall not be liable for any loss suffered by the buyer by any such
inaccuracies.
There are currently operational electrical installations at the western end of the
building which will be relocated within three months of completion of this sale. South
West Water will reserve rights for access and use until disconnection.
The purchaser will need to make their own enquiries as to a replacement electrical
supply.
South West Water’s guidance notes relating to restrictions of building over and
planting of trees adjacent to operational assets is available on request.
South West Water will be pleased to discuss any of these elements at the
Workshop days.
