GREEK
Hey, Andrew! Teach Me Some Greek!
introduces eager learners to the exciting study of
biblical Greek.
What is it?
Hey, Andrew! Teach Me Some Greek! teaches biblical Greek to preschoolers and older students
(even adults enjoy it) using a combination of deductive, inductive, and interactive methodology presented
in a workbook format. These easy-to-use workbooks require no prior knowledge of Greek.
What will we learn?
Upon completing this series, you will have an understanding of koiné (biblical) Greek. This
understanding will be demonstrated in reading comprehension and writing skills. In addition, you will
have the tools to pursue your own study in the Greek New Testament and can combat incorrect theology
based on faulty exegesis. An expanding Greek vocabulary extends your English vocabulary through an
understanding of roots. Finally, the grammatical structure you will learn will better prepare you to study
other foreign languages. You will benefit from the Greek roots in those languages as well.
The Reader
With catchy rhymes, four-year old Andrew
teaches his readers the twenty-four letters of the Greek
alphabet, followed by a short Bible verse.

LATIN
Latin’s Not So Tough!
makes learning Latin
easy and lots of fun.
What is it?
Latin’s Not So Tough! teaches Latin to early elementary and older students using a combination
of deductive, inductive, and interactive methodology presented in a workbook format.
Why another Latin series?
This series (requested by users of Hey, Andrew! Teach Me Some Greek!) introduces Latin to the
young student before he or she decides that classical languages are too difficult to learn. Enjoyable activity
pages implant in young minds a love of learning. Added benefits include improved thinking, reading
comprehension, and writing skills. Latin expands English vocabulary through a better understanding of
roots and prepares your student to study modern foreign languages if he or she so chooses.

MEMORY VERSE:
Esther 1:5
“When these days were over,
The king gave a banquet, lasting
seven days, in the enclosed
garden of the king’s palace, for
all the people from the least to
the greatest, who were in the
citadel of Susa.”
Alone With God - Esther
One Week Lesson
Why do some Bibles say the
king’s name was Xerxes and
some say Ahasuerus?
Ahasuerus is the original
Hebrew name of the king.
Xerxes is the Greek name used
by the historians.
Where would Xerxes’s
kingdom be today?
It stretched from today’s
Pakistan in the East to modern
day Greece in the West, from
southern Russia in the North to
Saudi Arabia in the South. In
area it was more than 600,000
square miles.
THURSDAY
? Pray. Ask God to help you in studying
How big was Xerxes’s palace?
His word.
? Read or recite the memory verse.
It covered 300 acres. That
is ten times the size of the
pentagon!
7. What did Xerxes give at the end of
those days?
(Esther 1:5)
Is Xerxes mentioned anywhere
else in the Bible?
Copyright © 1995 by Karen Mohs
FRIDAY
Pray. Ask God to help you in studying His word.
Read or recite the memory verse.
8. How was the king’s garden decorated?
(Esther 1:6) _____________________________
________________________________________
________________________________________
SATURDAY
Pray. Ask God to help you in studying His word.
Read or recite the memory verse.
9. What did Queen Vashti do during this time?
(Esther 1:9) _____________________________
________________________________________
Whom did she invite? Where was it held?
(Esther 1:9) _____________________________
According to Ezra 4:6,
Xerxes was a king during the
rebuilding of the temple at
Jerusalem.
Daniel 9:1 tells us that
Darius, the Persian king during
Daniel’s time, was the son of
Xerxes.
What does this mean:
“The drinking was done
according to the law”?
Usually, the king made the
guests promise to drink a certain
amount. Here, they could drink
however much (or little) they
desired.
THINK AND PRAY ABOUT IT
King Xerxes was very proud of his possessions. He wanted all people to see how rich he was. This
showed that things were very important in his life.
Do our treasures, the things we own, make us better than our friends?
Jesus told of the “pearl of great price.” (Matthew 13:46) He told us to seek it at all costs. But that
“pearl” has nothing to do with material riches. It is the kingdom of heaven.
What are you seeking? Worldly possessions like Xerxes? Or Jesus’ “pearl of great price”?

Additional Information
What is the difference between the two types of answer keys?
The “Full Text” answer key is a duplication of the workbook with the answers filled in. It
contains a brief proposal for scheduling the lessons as well as some English derivatives of the words taught
in Level 2 and above. The “Answers Only” answer key is a smaller booklet listing the answers that belong
on each page. Beginning with Level 3, the “Full Text” key gives The Big Picture - You Are Here
grammatical overview charts, Teacher Tips, and references for further study.
How long will it take before I receive my order?
Although we ask you to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery, we are usually able to ship materials within
three working days after receiving the order and payment. Orders are shipped through the United States
Post Office’s media mail or bound and printed matter service. For most locations within the continental
United States, the orders are in transit for a week or less.
Can I request a different “Ship To” Address?
Yes. Please make a notation on your order form that will not be easily overlooked.

You may use the order form in this catalog. Alternately, you may print an order form designed
specifically for international orders directly from our web page (www.greeknstuff.com/ship-intl.html).

What Others Are Saying ...
“The kids love doing their Greek lessons. I think it's their favorite subject! I like the way the lessons are done
and how clearly the material is explained. Early childhood is the best and easiest time to learn a language, and
your materials recognize that by being the 'kid-friendly.'” -- St. Charles, MO
“My son loves your products. I have to tell him to put the books away and get going with the rest of his school
work!” -- Mansfield, MA
“Thank you very much for such a comprehensive course in Greek! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed
studying Greek with your easy to use and clearly written assignments. Congratulations on a job very well
done!” -- Quebec, Canada
“Your Latin program is excellent. Our 7 year old is on book 3 and he is doing very well. We plan to continue to
the end of the series before switching to another text...Certainly it is a sign of a well designed course when the
student can progress on his own, even when his teachers (i.e. parents) do not know the subject matter.”
-- Harvard, MA
“Excellent. Great way to start learning Greek. Builds upon itself very well. Being a student of Greek, I found
the text excellent. Great job!!” -- Bennettsville, SC
“I do want you to know how happy I am with your Greek materials. I have a Master's Degree in German
linguistics and am thrilled at the grasp my 10 year old studying Level Three Greek has on the grammar. The 8
year old on Level Two is also going along nicely. So many language courses have hiccoughs where the pace
suddenly speeds up. Hey Andrew never leaves any gaps; it is very thorough and leaves the kids feeling
confident with their new knowledge. God bless you with this work and with your family.” -- Australia
“My 7 year old daughter just started level 2 Latin. It is her favorite 'freetime' pasttime!” -- Hardin, MT
“My kids absolutely love this curriculum. I literally have to set a limit on how much time they can spend on
this or they would not do the rest of their school work. Our son can't wait to get his new books because I told
him he could go ahead and start on his Greek when it gets here. Thank you for putting together such a user
friendly program for young children!” -- Lynchburg, VA
“The Ruth study was excellent. One of the best 'no frills' focus on the Bible itself devotional studies, rather than
the usual crossword and games distractions that make the Bible a sideline to the 'real' fun.” -- Australia
“Thank you soooooooo much for putting together these simple, fun, easy to learn Greek books! I have been
taking Greek out of various books for about two years and never enjoyed it so much, or learned so quickly, as I
have using your books! Thank you Thank you Thank you! Keep up the good work!! God Bless you!!!”
-- El Dorado Hills, CA
