This “total body” muscular conditioning class works all the
major muscle groups using a hand weighted medicine ball.

Step Challenge
(Beginner/Intermediate Level Workout)
Looking for a fitness challenge? This high-lo, high intensity
cardiovascular workout will have you performing advanced
step moves around an adjustable bench.
Pure “Y” Strength (All Fitness Levels)
Challenge yourself with circuit training, intervals,
to tone and increase muscle endurance in a total body
workout. Condition your body with exercise for the upper
body, abdominals, lower back, hips and legs! This is no dance
class!
Yoga (All Fitness Levels)
Increase your flexibility while decreasing your stress levels. It
is designed to increase range of motion, to improve flexibility,
balance and posture.
Turbo-Kick (All Fitness Levels)
You’ll kick, punch & groove the calories away in this high-energy, super fun & effective cardiovascular workout. Incorporating

abdominal workout.
“Y” PIYO (All Fitness Levels)
Incorporates stretching Yoga & Pilates movements and controlled breathing into a 1-hour session. It is designed to
increase range of motion, to improve flexibility, balance and
posture and to reduce stress.
Physioball Blast (All Fitness Levels)
Get on the BALL...this dynamic class incorporates the physioball, bands,and weights to strengthen & lengthen core muscles while improving BALANCE!
“We Got The Moves” (All Fitness Levels)
Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia. Groove, kick & punch, perform and
WORK! This dance aerobic workout is high-energy & high-fun!
“Y” Cardio Tone (Beginner/Intermediate Level Workout)
This 1 hour class of low/non impact aerobic and dance moves
also works with bands, physioballs and light weights. It is
designed to improve cardiovascular endurance and muscle
strength. It is a great place to start your aerobics program.
Belly Dancing (All Fitness Levels)
A wonderful form of low-impact aerobics! Shimmies percussive
hip work and sustained arm movements make it a fun and
exciting class for all ages! This class will tone and shape your
body while you dance and sweat to the sounds of international
music!
Zumba (All Fitness Levels)
Zumba is a fusion of Latin dances (like salsa, merengue and
samba) mixed with modern dance, hip-hop and plain old
bootie-shaking! The moves are set to fast and slow Latin and
international music to provide a dance party atmosphere.
Tai Chi (All Fitness Levels)
The graceful movements of this ancient, time-tested martial art
provides you with methods for maintaining benefits in physical

Aqua Jog (Intermediate/Advanced Level Workout)
A water jogging class with a combination of deep & shallow
water exercises. This class meets the needs of a full body &
cardiovascular workout.
Easy Does It (Beginners)
Provides low intensity, non-weight bearing exercise that
emphasizes stretching, range of motion and improved mobility
in joints.
Aqua Box (All Fitness Level Workout)
You’ll KICK, Punch & Groove the calories away in this highenergy, super fun & effective cardiovascular workout in the
water!
“Y” Aquacise (Beginner/Intermediate Level Workout)
Low to intermediate intensity, full body activity offering range
of motion, muscular endurance, toning, and balance.
Water Volleyball (All Fitness Level Workout)
Want some fun in your day? Play recreational water volleyball
for some casual water exercise! This is not a competitive
sport group! We play for laughs!
“Y” Power Hour (Intermediate/Advanced Level Workout)
A high impact, advanced water fitness class designed to
increase endurance & strength with emphasis on total body &
cardiovascular activity.
Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are available year round! Options include group
or private lessons. Lessons are available for both adults and
children.

Fitness/Cardio Equipment Orientation:
Orientations are provided to help members learn proper form and technique using Cybex/Paramount machines or free weights.
Orientation also includes introduction to cardio equipment. Orientations are recommended for all members. For more information, please stop by the front desk.
Fitness Consultations:
New members and existing members can schedule fitness consultations for FREE with our certified personal trainers. This fitness evaluation will evaluate body composition, blood pressure and cardiovascular fitness. Stop by the front desk to schedule
your next fitness evaluation.

Ultimate “Y” Challenge: is a 6 week challenging training program with a certified personal trainer to
improve your mind, body and spirit! In a group setting, Ultimate “Y” challenge class will get you into action with sport specific
moves, intervals, strength, and circuit training to tone and increase muscle endurance in a 1 hour class!
W.O.W. (Women On Weights):
Women On Weights is a 6 week program designed to help establish fitness goals. In a group setting you will receive 12 personal
training sessions with a certified personal trainer to achieve and
maintain a balanced exercise program. Other areas include
basic fitness components such as increasing your strength (working with cable strength machines and free weights) enhancing
your cardiovascular endurance and improving your metabolism.
Receive 12 personal training sessions for only $50.00 a cost of
$4.16 per session.
Personal Training:
The YWCA Certified Personal Trainer is here to assist you in
establishing appropriate fitness goals. This one-on-one consultation addresses how to achieve and maintain a balanced exercise
program. Other areas included in your consultation are basic fitness components, zone intensity and strength training. From lifting weights to designing custom exercise plans, our certified
trainers are here to help you.
