Name_______________________________________________________________________________ Period _________ River Valley Civilizations Project (Mesopotamia, Egypt, Indus Valley, & China) You and your group will be making a poster about different aspects of the four River Valley Civilizations that we have studied so far this year. The information that you will be researching will come from Mr. Engebretson’s website (some PowerPoint presentations, Readings, and other assignments that we have done throughout the year). Mr. Engebretson’s Website ____1. Choose four topics from this list: * Social Structure (Class System) * Government * Written Language * Famous People * Religion / Gods & Goddesses River Valley Civilizations Project Research * Daily Life * Famous Structures * Achievements * Geography ____2. Research your topics in class, in the computer lab, and during SI Time. ____3. Using the website to research, put together 2 sentences per topic/per civilization (32 total sentences). Ex. 2 sentences on Religion for China, 2 sentences on Religion for Egypt, etc. ____4. Find pictures about your topics/civilizations. * 2 pictures per topic (total of 8 pictures) * Citations (be sure to include where you found each picture) ____ 5. Create a timeline that has 8 dates on it describing 2 important events from each River Valley Civilization (in complete sentences). ____6.
