Instructions for CellsAlive.com Web Site Log on as you normally would – Username and student number 1. Type www.Cellsalive.com in URL box 2. Along left side, click on “Cell Models” 3. Click on picture of cell or “Take Me to the Animation” 4. At the bottom of the black screen, click on “Animal Cell” 5. Click on Organelles and read to 6. Fill in Animal Cell Chart 7. To return to whole cell click on “Return to Cell Diagram” 8. Repeat #5, 6, and 7 for each animal organelle 9. When Animal Cell Chart is complete, click on “Plant Cell” below the cell picture 10. Click on pictures of organelles and fill in Plant Cell Chart 11. To return to whole cell click on “Return to Cell Diagram” 12. Repeat # 10 and 11 for each organelle until done – Note Organelles covered in the animal chart are not repeated. 13. Turn in Charts 13. After your chart is filled in you may work an Animal or Plant Cell Jigsaw Puzzle. Click on puzzles in left column.
