CONSTRUCTING AN…ANGLE BISECTOR
DEFINITION:
An angle bisector is a ray that divides an angle into two congruent angles. Its
endpoint is at the angle vertex.
Any point on the angle bisector is equidistant from the sides of the angle

CONSTRUCTING A….PERPENDICULAR BISECTOR
DEFINITION:
A perpendicular bisector of a segment is a line, segment, or ray that is perpendicular
to the segment at its midpoint, thereby bisecting the segment into two congruent
segments.
If a point is on the bisector of an angle, then the point is equidistant from the sides
of the angle.
