The First Sura of the Qur’an
In the name of Allah, most gracious, most merciful.
Praise be to Allah, the cherisher and sustainer of the worlds;
most gracious, most merciful; master of the day of
judgment.
Thee alone we worship, thee alone we ask for help.
Show us the straight way, the way of those on whom thou
has bestowed thy grace, those whose (portion) is not
wrath, and who go not astray.

Muhammad the Human
• If we criticizes him for his treatment of women then what
about David or Solomon?
• If we criticizes him for his advancing through battles then
what about the book of Judges, the Crusades, Western
imperialism, or the Iraq war of 2003?
• If we criticizes him for his use of power then how do we
use power?
• If we criticizes him for his failures then what of Gideon’s
or ours?
• The difference between Muslims and Christians is not our
behavior, its our savior.
