Spelling Activity Choices:
1. Write each word 5x’s each neatly, vertically or horizontally
2. Use each word in a sentence.
3. ABC order
4. Ask an adult to write each word 5x’s and then you trace with a crayon or highlighter
(please print only in lowercase letters)
5. Cheer each word to a member in your family.
(Parent: Please write in the homework book how your child did as a cheerleader)
6. Write each word in pencil then trace the consonants in one color crayon,
trace the vowels in another crayon.
7. * Write each of your spelling words and next to each word, write if it is a noun
(person, place or thing) , action verb, or an adjective (describing word)
If it is neither one, write that word 5 times each.
8. Draw a picture for each of your words and label your picture with one of your
spelling words.
9. How Much Is My Word Worth? Consonants =5 cents vowels 6 cent consonants
