Directions: Complete one of the following assignments each night
spelling homework is assigned. The only activity that can be
repeated during the week is writing each spelling word three times.
 Write each spelling word three times. You may use pencil,
pen, marker, or crayon.
 Write each of your spelling words in a sentence. Underline
the spelling word.
Ex: Bob took Carrie to the aquarium to see the fish.
 Write your words in ABC order and in ZYX order.
 Write your spelling words in pyramids.

 Have an adult give you a practice test at home and write the
words you missed two times. Have the adult sign the practice
test.
 Make a word search containing your spelling words. Circle the
spelling words in the puzzle when you are done.
 Write each spelling word two times. Underline the consonants
and circle the vowels.
Ex: whopper whopper
 Write you spelling words in a zig-zag.
