State of play with respect to MSFD programme of measures in Spain WG-ESA 12 th meeting Brussels, March 9 – 10 2015 Division for the Protection of the Sea. Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment of Spain 1 The development of a programme of measures designed to achieve or maintain the Good Environmental Status by 2020 2 Drafting process of PoM SPAIN 1. Some research work has been done to identify existing measures. 2. Request on information to competent authorities in Ministries and Autonomous Communities a. Compilation, updating and analysis of the Government and the Autonomous Regions budgets programmes which are directly related with the marine protection/conservation. b. A questionnaire has been sent (feb 2015) 3. Gap analysis and proposal of new measures based on its results. 4. CBA/CEA analysis (New measures). 5.
