Student Choice Assignment: The Great War [WWI] Due Tuesday April 26 Select at least 1 assignment for each of the rows labeled Causes [1a-6a], Timeframe [7a-12a], Effect on American society [13a-18a], Post War world [19a-24a], and Problems and changes [25a30a]. You will submit a total of 5 assignments one from each row [go from left to right to make your selections]. Each assignment from each row is worth 20 points for a total of 100 points. Assignments will be scored based on 3 factors: Historical accuracy, Creativity and Correct spelling and grammar. If you have limited internet or computer access you might want to avoid assignments that require use of computer technology. If you have any questions about this assignment whatsoever see me in person of e-mail as soon as possible to have your concerns addressed in a timely manner. Order and catalogue 4 causes of the War and chart ideas using a flow chart. [NCSCOS 8.01] 4a. Compare & contrast causes Great War with another U.S. war and chart ideas using a Compare/Contrast diagram. [NCSCOS 8.01] 5a. Ponder an international community without alliances using a Twitter Feed [at least 10 threads]. [NCSCOS 8.01] 6a. Defend/defy passage of the 19th Amendment after the Great War and show your knowledge by playing a game of charades or invite law professor to give a class talk. [NCSCOS 8.03] 30a. Substantiate the current necessity for 21st Century international alliances and show your knowledge using by creating a talk show segment [at least 3 minutes long].
