Daily Notes: The 2 Ways Minerals Form 1. Magma cools -Magma is melted rock. -It cools to form new rocks and minerals 2. Liquid evaporated out of a solution -A solution is a mixture of a dissolved mineral in a liquid. -This is like the salt crystals we are growing – the water evaporates out and leaves newly formed salt crystals behind.
