Directions to load Windows on the Macs: Immediately after turning on the computer, hold the “option”
key until you see two hard drive icons. Arrow key over to Windows and press the “return” key. After
pressing “cntrl-alt-del” to login, simply press the “return” key; there’s no password required to log in.
Open “My Computer” by double clicking on its icon. Click “Change a Setting.” Click “Appearance and
Themes.” Click “Display.” Click “Settings.” Change the “Screen Resolution” to “800 by 600 Pixels.”
Change “Color Quality” to “Medium (16 Bit).” Click “Apply.” 15 seconds to click “Yes” or must repeat
above steps. Click “OK.” Close the window and put the CD in. Open “My Computer” and double click the
CD “Plate Tec.” Double click “PateCol.” Wait a moment and double click the film projector icon,
“PlateTec.” Turn off the sound.
Computer Lab Instructions: Look over the different navigation buttons and then click on the  Button to start the
program. Click on the Introduction Button, and then use the  Button to advance through the program to complete the
exercises and answer the questions. There is not a question for every page, however, you should read every page and
