Napoleon Bonaparte
Napoleon Bonaparte was a very famous general in of France. His childhood was
very rocky and filled with horrible events, but in his later years he had success and
failures. His achievements were astonishing in a lot of different ways like inspiring
generals and militaries for years to come.
Bonaparte had horrible things happen in his childhood which would scare him for
life. Like he was picked on for being so short! He was born in 1769 in Ajaccio, Corsica
which is an island. He was born in a family of seven brothers and sisters. Later on he
was sent to the French mainland, but he wasn’t even French! A couple years later he was
exiled and a couple days after that his father died. Next he was put in the army and he
was a spy that had a job of seizing Toulan from royalists.
Bonaparte’s adulthood started with a good education which would help through
his later years. After school he was sent to the royal military academy of Briennie-leChateau in France. Later he started calling himself Napoleon “the great.” Then he
became a star in France. He helped arrest King Louis sixteenth and helped the citizens in
the French Revolution. After that he was made King of Naples. Then he sent his brothers
and sisters to other thrones through out France. He married two women named Josephine
de Beauharhais and Archduchess Marie Louis. With them he ruled with his two wives
over Europe for twenty years. He also ruled armies that had over 100,000 men each. At
the end of his life he died of a stomach ulcer.
Bonaparte was famous for being a very small but respected general. He made the
French Emperor unsteady and easy to over run. Then he became the French Emperor. He
had a huge empire which had terrible problems with rebelling French citizens. After that
problem was detained he crushed Russia because he was uneasy which made he start a
war. He pushed them all the way to their homeland. With that entire world at war he
broke the truce with Britain. He broke the truce with Britain. That sparked the downfall
of his army. He was getting beat from all fronts. He was being beat in Russia, Germany,
and even France. In Russia he would basically kill his army by killing traitors, leavers,
and sending them to the winter in Russia. Then in Russia he left his army for his own
safety.
Although Bonaparte had a ghastly childhood he is remembered for sticking
through it. He had a trifling adulthood because he got married and his empire was
created. He was distinguished for his achievements because he never gave up and
followed his dreams. His defeat showed that the world can never be controlled.
