Cannon Cancer Ministry was created to walk with those who are in the midst of
struggling with this devastating disease. Each cancer patient and/or caregiver is assigned
an assessor who meets with him or her to assess ways that the Cancer Ministry may be of

Transportation -Air travel
There are several programs available. Many, including commercial airlines, use the
Patient Air Travel HELPLINE listed below as their referral mechanism. For that reaSOl1
commercial airline programs are not listed individually. Some, such as those listed
below the HELPLINE, allow patients to contact them directly. Other than the deep
discount airline tickets available through the HELPLINE, all services are at no cost to
the patient or their families although some programs require a financial need in some
situations.
