One week after the end of the 21st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on
Climate Change (COP21) – an international meeting to address climate change held in Paris, from Nov. 30 to
December 11 - the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Office of Sustainability of the City of
Atlanta and the Consulate General of France in Atlanta invite you to participate in a discussion about the
Benefits of Global Action on Climate Change issues.
- When: December 17, 2015 - from 2pm to 3:30pm
- Where: Alliance Française, Colony Square, Plaza level, 1197 Peachtree St. N.E., Atlanta, Ga 30261.
Complimentary two-hour parking in the Colony Square Parking deck is offered with your parking ticket.

Agenda
- Consul General of France Denis Barbet will open the event with a brief report of the diplomatic
negotiations that took place in Paris.
- Stephanie Benfield, Director of the Office of Sustainability of the City of Atlanta, who participated in the
COP21, will explain how the results of the negotiations will impact the city, and what are the local
commitments and agenda regarding climate issues.
- A representative from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will then highlight the Benefits of Global
Action regarding Climate Change, with a focus on the South-East of the United States, and on Georgia.
Discussions will continue during a reception until 4:00 pm.
