When short-wavelength radiation (blue light) strikes the epoxy-phosphor medium, some portion of the blue light is converted to longer wavelength radiation (yellow lig ...

... In analyzed interferograms only the OVs with topological charge “+1” and “-1” can be found then vortices can be split of into two groups right or not. More important is how localization error influence to phase deformation reconstruction error. Theoretically we obtain reconstruction error 3*10-3λ as ...

These three beams were all focused onto retroreflecting mirrors on the opposite sides of the chamber so that the beam waist w0 was 500 µm at their intersection; one o ...

If the spins are parallel (or, more precisely,if they are in the triplet state), the energy is somewhat higher than it is when the spins are antiparallel (the single state). The difference is not large, amo ...

Magnetic circular dichroism

Magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) is the differential absorption of left and right circularly polarized (LCP and RCP) light, induced in a sample by a strong magnetic field oriented parallel to the direction of light propagation. MCD measurements can detect transitions which are too weak to be seen in conventional optical absorption spectra; they can also probe paramagnetic properties and the symmetry of the electronic levels of the studied systems, such as metal ion sites.
