Exposure Time Calculator for LUCI - USER MANUAL
Exposure Time Calculator for LUCI - USER MANUAL

... The exposure time calculator (ETC) roughly calculates the exposure time of LUCI at the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT). There is a wide choice of different model spectra available (e.g. different main sequence stars). It is also possible to select a blackbody spectrum or a single-line spectrum as an ...

... with 2 Mn atoms give more complex spectra with up to 36 lines (Fig. 1(c)) but the two localized spins can still be addressed using similar optical techniques [14]. If a third Mn atom interacts with the exciton, 6 × 36 emission lines are expected. As the typical PL linewidth in CdTe/ZnTe QDs is large ...

Heuristic Green`s function of the time dependent

... To counter everyday increasing challenges of super fast signal processing, optics comes with novel interest with strong potentiality over electronics in last few decades [1]-[3]. The introduction of non-linear properties of semiconductor enhances the prospect for the development of all optical proce ...

... The development of optical fiber technology has increased the demand for new biological devices where light plays the role of sensor, actuator or laser beam carrier 1,2,3. Implanted sensors are currently scarce, due to the challenges of miniaturization and biocompatibility. However, many examples o ...

Analysis of Protein Denaturation Through

... Ribonucleic acid (RNA) comes in several different varieties, and its main function is to serve as a working template for transferring the information contained on a given segment of DNA into a specific string of amino acids. RNA polymerase ―unzips‖ the double-stranded helix of DNA, allowing the mRN ...

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a prominent non-invasive biomedical tissue imaging technique that generates in vivo cross-sectional images of tissue microstructure with micron-scale spatial resolution. OCT can overcome the limitations of the other techniques; but the dysplastic alterations are ...

... color temperature (CCT). The CCT of the simulated light can range over from 4269 K to 15042 K. The lightning simulator is useful for the test light source of the optical/image sensor of the lightning observation. Magnetic circular dichroism

Magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) is the differential absorption of left and right circularly polarized (LCP and RCP) light, induced in a sample by a strong magnetic field oriented parallel to the direction of light propagation. MCD measurements can detect transitions which are too weak to be seen in conventional optical absorption spectra; they can also probe paramagnetic properties and the symmetry of the electronic levels of the studied systems, such as metal ion sites.
