Aspects on High Frequency Power Supplies for ESPs
Aspects on High Frequency Power Supplies for ESPs

... 25 ºC (a) and 125 ºC, (b) for Device A. In order to compare UCE at different frequencies the x-axis is scaled as the angle of the sinusoidal current. From the figures it can be observed that the on-state voltage is increased at higher frequencies. It is also observed that the higher temperature (125 ...

Alternatively, switching amplifiers produce audio signals by modulating a rapidly alternating “digital” (or two-state) voltage so that its averaged (or low-pass filtered) voltage represents the desired audio signal. The switching frequency is always much higher than the highest frequency of the desi ...

The –75dBm level assumes that the overall system noise figure is not too high such that the carrier-to-noise ratio of the satellite signal has not been degraded such that signal recovery is not possible. Signal levels lower than –75dBm can be recovered with properly designed systems having over-all ...

Metadyne

A metadyne is a direct current electrical machine with two pairs of brushes. It can be used as an amplifier or rotary transformer. It is similar to a third brush dynamo but has additional regulator or ""variator"" windings. It is also similar to an amplidyne except that the latter has a compensating winding which fully counteracts the effect of the flux produced by the load current. The technical description is ""a cross-field direct current machine designed to utilize armature reaction"". A metadyne can convert a constant-voltage input into a constant-current, variable-voltage output.
