Estimating Fractions (benchmark: 0, ½, 1) Understand what a half looks like… If the numerator is half the amount of the dominator the fraction is equal to ½ Ex: 12/24 = 1/2 (N could only be 12); If it were 2 12/24, the fraction becomes a 1/2; 2 + 1/2 = 2 1/2 If the numerator is less than half of the ...

... This means that asking to solve this problem for x 0 6x 2 11x 3 is the same as asking to solve 0 = (3x + 1 ) ( 2x + 3). Now note, on the LHS I have two multiplied numbers. When two multiplied numbers are zero it’s a sure bet that one of the numbers is zero, maybe both of them. (3x + 1 ) ( 2x + ...

Mathematics of radio engineering
The mathematics of radio engineering is the mathematical description by complex analysis of the electromagnetic theory applied to radio. Waves have been studied since ancient times and many different techniques have developed of which the most useful idea is the superposition principle which apply to radio waves. The Huygen's principle, which says that each wavefront creates an infinite number of new wavefronts that can be added, is the base for this analysis.
