Is Group Non-Membership in QCMA? (I.e. is the computational complexity polynomial, in addition to the query complexity?) Other quantum o ...

... In this work we research a photoresponse of the n-type GaAs/AlGaAs core-shell quantum wire array, grown by the vapor-liquid-crystal mechanism on p-type silicon substrate. Photovoltaic and photoconductivity spectra and temporal characteristics of the photocurrent were obtained. All studies were condu ...

Had QFT already been invented for some other purpose, physicists interested in QED would have simply taken over its methods and results, and progress in the latter field would have been faster. As is well-known, QFT also has applications to condensed matter physics. It can be reformulat ...

Quantum field theory

In theoretical physics, quantum field theory (QFT) is a theoretical framework for constructing quantum mechanical models of subatomic particles in particle physics and quasiparticles in condensed matter physics. A QFT treats particles as excited states of an underlying physical field, so these are called field quanta. In quantum field theory, quantum mechanical interactions between particles are described by interaction terms between the corresponding underlying fields.
