composé. These verbs all have irregular past participles. Two of the verbs in this
group take être as the helping verb.


age and what he/she used to do. Imagine that your grandmother has answered
you with five sentences that described your mother or father. Write these five
sentences using the imparfait. Start each sentence with either Il or Elle.
K. Madeleine is back from vacation and she is telling her friend 5 things that she did
while she was away. Imagine that you are Madeleine and use the passé composé
to write 5 sentences that explain what you did. Use 2 verbs that use être as the
helping verb, and 3 verbs that use avoir as the helping verb. Start each sentence
