This study is an attempt to outline observing the rules and regulations of Islamic law, in application
of different types of Islamic financial products like in hire purchase , installment purchase etc.
Business must be conducted openly in accordance with utmost good faith, honesty full disclosure,
truthfulness and fairness in all aspect. Among the different product portfolio includes Musharakah,
Mudarabah, Bay Al Murabahah, Ijarah, Salam, Al Istisna , Al Istisna Al Tamwili, Jualah, Wakalah,
Takaful, Sukuk, mainly play nowadays an important role in the infrastructure of financial strength of
a contry. This research is an attempt to evaluate the different Islamic products portfolio in the
Bangladesh perspective in an aim to gather an in depth understanding why such finances are
getting importance in parallel to conventional financing. Also what motivated us as researcher in
the field is that opening of so many multivariate financial products from the Islamic arena that we
thought it is really time to investigate the portfolio and its implication in Bangladesh. As Malaysia
undoubtedly is leading the market for such finances but lately Bangladesh has picked up the
momentum and has now a considerable market share of the Islamic products side by side the
conventional ones.
