Ethics of Media; an Islamic Perspective:

Abstract:
Today when media is playing an important role in societal
changing. So, its necessary that the role of media should be optimistic and
truthful.
The basic concept of media in the light of Islam is as under:
1.
The reports on media must be authenticated it should not be un
authenticated.
2.
The role of media should be impartial.
3.
There should be freedom of media but in Islamic countries it has to
be as according to the principles of Quran and Sunah.
4.
Problems and aggregation to Muslims should be highlighted
without religious biases.
5.
In Muslim countries media should play vital role to promote
Islamic Culture.
6.
Media should play role to highlight Islamic research and its
encouragement.
