Extraordinary (B -Prepositions)
Among the ‘nothing-specials’, I stand out.
Above the basic concepts,
Below godly.
Opposite of boring and plain.
For I am better than just average,
Except I am just a person.
Inside I am extra
ordinary.
Terribly Good (A - Verbs)
Running her mouth from person to person
Smirking with every upsetting response
Laughing as everyone believes her lies
Keeping an innocent face with every
accusation
Smiling as everyone takes her side
Allowing the lies to grow larger and larger
Believing what used to be lies as the honest
truth
Bright Night (B)
Over the galaxies and nebulas
Past the swirls of the Milky Way,
Between the faces of the Earth and Moon
Atop the clouds, light makes its way
Beneath the rings of Saturn
As the beams glitter with all their might
Amidst the comets and black holes
Above my head, the stars shine bright
Pure Evil (A)
Sinks claws into scattered minds
Crawling deeper and deeper past a
core
Replacing first set morals without
remorse
Unleashing chaos to wreak havoc over
all
Embedding nouveau instinct
Slaughtered soul, No shred of original self
Unhinged and riotous
Silent Scream (A)
Eliminated from all human ears
Caught in your inner guts
Enforcing all types of emotions
Expressing anger among all
Influencing fists up high
Building confusing sounds
Tackling a soft emotion
Open Secret (A)
Whispered at a steady pace,
Traveling from ear to ear,
Altered truths and accounts,
Releasing a secret for everyone to hear,
Playing “telephone” as the truth
Changes as it goes down the line,
Witnessing silly rumors and wicked grins
Hating the secret that is no longer is mine.
Pretty Ugly (A)
Realizing reality is painfully unfortunate when she
Discovered what she is and will always be
Limiting the unlimited possibilities that used to be
within reach
Ruining those uplifting dreams causing her to
Run from the hurtful truth, then finally
Weeping because those words and images were not
lies –
Knowing she will never be pretty enough.
