2.2. The Ottoman-Caliphate’s Expansion
The sword was used by Ottoman Empire
(Caliphate) to conquer lands from Europe to
North Africa, from 13th century to 1923.
Kafirs in those lands were forced into the
Caliphate under Islamic rule as oppressed
semi-slaves with heavy taxation.
