The way of infection • • • Virus enter a dormant state and remain in the host after the initial infection . • • When the illness progresses , interferes more and more with the immune system including opportunistic infections and tumors that do not usually affect people who have working immune systems. Sexual The most frequent mode of transmission of HIV is sexual contact with an infected person, like oral, anal, vaginal sex.. Body fluids 1. Being transfused HIV-contaminated blood, blood products. 2. Sharing needles, syringes with HIV carriers. 3. Accepting the organ transplant from HIV-contaminated. Mother-to-child Baby will be transfused from mother during pregnancy, during delivery, or through breast milk. How to solve the problem? Origins • Although somebody thought AIDS was infected by African ape, there is no apparent proof show that it was true. Therefore, we still cannot determine the origin of AIDS. Hate the disease, but not the diseased ! Avoiding doing something below are good ways for us to do : • Safety Sex Using condoms when you have sex. • Do not use pinhead commonly Some pinhead may have HIV virus. • Vaccine Although there is no vaccine could totally prevent to get AIDS, vaccine RV144 could reduce almost 30% to get AIDS.
