VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
CLASSIFICATION TITLE: COMMUNITY SOCIAL SERVICES ASSISTANT
JOB LOCATION: ADULT ASSISTANCE (MEDICAID)
Job Description:
In coordination with professional Income Maintenance Casework and other Department
staff, position provides transportation for eligible Medicaid clients to medically related
appointments.
Work schedule is flexible; it will vary depending upon the workload for any particular
day.
Minimum Training and Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated possession of knowledges, skills and abilities gained through at least one
year of experience in performing tasks similar to the ones assigned. A minimum of a
High School degree is preferred.
COMPUTER PROFICIENCY IS REQUIRED. VALID NORTH CAROLINA
DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED. BI-LINGUAL ABILITY
(ENGLISH/SPANISH) IS DESIRABLE.

Salary: Community Social Services Assistant
$21,264 annually
