Christianity is by far the largest religion in Germany, with a following of around 60% of the German population. Here are some words you
can use to explain your own religion, if you have one.

Christianity
According to a survey in 2005, 47% of German citizens agreed with the statement "I believe there is a God", whereas 25% agreed with "I
believe there is some sort of spirit or life force"; and 25% said "I do not believe there is any sort of spirit, god, or life force". Germany has
a firm approach to issues of religious freedom. The German constitution guarantees all citizens freedom of faith and religion, and that no
one may be discriminated against due to their faith or religious opinions.
Christianity is still the dominating religion in Germany. See below the most well known prayer, the Lord's prayer.
