B characteristic 10kA, rated breaking capacity = 50A.
Our MCBs belong to a new generation of miniature circuit breakers. They
conform to the latest European Norm EN 60 898 (IEC898) and EN 60947-2.
The MCBs are very easy to mount. Cable and busbar can be connected
simultaneously at the bottom of the MCBs. Pin- or fork-type busbar can
be used.
Cable can also be used for connection at the top of the MCBs.
Thermal overload current release and electromagnetic short circuit
current release makes the MCBs suitable for the protection of buildings
and industrial electrical installations and equipment. It automatically
trips at a preset value.
Usage
Generally a high breaking MCB provides a better protection than a low
breaking, since it trips faster at short circuit.
A fast MCB also improves the selectivity for the preconnected fuse,
which is why a fast MCB should be chosen, since it does not break at
starting currents etc. To improve selectivity, the preconnected fuse
should be slow and have as large rated current as possible.
