VIVATERRA Care Instructions: Manzanita Air Plant Wreath Our wreath suppliers travel to central Oregon to hand-‐harvest the manzanita branches used in this exceptional wreath. Filled with green moss and accented with an airplant “bow,” it surely stands out in a crowd. Care Instructions: Light: Place plant in bright light. Water: Plants should be watered 2 to 3 times a week. Saturate the entire plant, but do not let it sit in standing water. Dipping plants in water or holding under the faucet and then giving them a shake is a great way to water them. Misting plants is not sufficient. Tillandsia, or air plants, absorb moisture and nutrients through their leaves. These hardy plants are adaptable and tolerant to a wide range of environmental conditions and require minimal care. The three most important requirements are bright light (although not direct sun), good air circulation and water. Air plants love fresh moving air and bright but not direct light. They will thrive either indoors or out. Optimum temperature range for air plants kept outdoors is 50-‐90 degrees.
