VIVATERRA Care Instructions: Succulent Wreath Our living wreath is as eco-‐friendly as it is enchanting. The succulents are hand-‐assembled and include crassia, lichen and other compatible varieties that thrive with minimal watering every six to eight weeks Care Instructions: Your new wreath contains an exciting collection of young succulents that will continue to grow and thrive with minimal care. Please be patient and enjoy their growth. Care for this wreath is easy. Simply follow these steps.
Light: It is best to keep your wreath out of direct sunlight for one week after arrival. Succulents prefer some protection from midday sun if kept outside. A south facing window is ideal if kept indoors. Water: Ideally soak the wreath once every three to ten weeks depending on plant needs. Water is needed when the backside is hard and dry or the wreath feels lightweight, or the leaves have puckered. Do not mist or surface spray plants as this practice encourages shallow roots and weak plants. Deep soaking and allowing the soil to dry out completely between watering works best. Fertilizing: Little fertilizer is needed. In the spring and summer a feeding of liquid fertilizer (15-‐30-‐
15) can be added to the soaking water. Pruning: Succulents grow slowly, to maintain the wreath’s round shape, pinch or prune back. Cuttings can be planted into a pot once callused.
