Susan Cunningham Professor Cunningham graduated with honours from the University of Leeds, U.K. in 1988. Her orthodontic training was undertaken at the Eastman Dental Institute, University of London, gaining an MSc in 1994 and Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1995. After qualification she was appointed lecturer at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute and gained her PhD in 2000. She was made Professor of Orthodontics at UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 2010 and is currently programme director for the MClinDent Programme at the Eastman Dental Institute .Her main research interest is the outcomes of orthodontic treatment, with an emphasis on orthognathic treatment, and she has written over 70 peer reviewed papers and contributed to several textbooks.
