RECOMENDATIONS ON PERFOMING FACADE FACING WORKS IN
LOW - RISE BUILDINGS BUILT USING ADDITIVE TECHNOLOGY.
Modern facade system is a composite structure consisting of different
materials, depending on the selected architectural solution.
The main facade systems can be divided into several types of "wet facade system",
ventilated facades, facades of sandwich panels, translucent facades.
Translucent facades used in the construction of modern buildings are by far the
most relevant. Glass refers to materials, the use of which for facades allowed to
give them a distinct look that matches the idea of the perfect modern building.
As the experience of practical application of translucent facades, in particular on
the reconstruction of the Technopark "Altai", this is the place to be in our region
(Figure.1 and Figure.2).

But for now the design stage is
decisive for energy efficiency and glass
have a low resistance to heat transfer. In the
course of scientific studies have shown that
the bulk of heat loss occurs by radiation
(radiative) component of the thermal energy
directed to the external environment.
Therefore, in order to reduce the heat
leakage, it is necessary to provide reflection
of infrared radiation inside the building.

Technological innovation is the creation of multifunctional selective glass
with a "soft" sputter coating. Passing most of the visible solar spectrum, they cut
off long-wave thermal radiation. This avoids overheating of the premises and, as a
consequence, reduced costs for ventilation and air-conditioning. At the same time
it is a complete energy saving product. Windows with such glasses have high
thermal performance, in particular heat-transfer resistance of 0.62 sq. m/W.
The idea of a multifunctional glass is that in one product to combine two
features: thermal insulation and heatproof. The technology is the alternation of
functional and protective layers. The upper and lower layers of oxides and nitrides
that affect the reflectivity, transmittance and color. The main functional layer of
various metals (silver, chrome) provides a reflection of short-wave and long-wave
thermal radiation. To protect the main functional layers from mechanical and
chemical damage, as well as reflection and absorption of short-wave heat radiation
between these layers is a protective coating. A protective layer of silicon nitride
allows to expose multifunctional glass tempering according to the conventional
technology: heating to 600C and rapid cooling.
However, at the stage of developing design and estimate documentation or in
design organizations, construction companies, these issues are not always worked
out.
So when designing the glass facade of the Technopark "Altai" has not been
worked out the issues of trial design such technologies for energy efficiency, there
was no professional heat loss calculations, designing heat shields and equipment,
respectively, that further leads to unjustified costs for the additional installation of
teplovikov and other equipment.
At the stage of implementation of construction works it became clear that not
developed the connections of glazing, waterproofing, as well as components of the
wastewater master plan of snow management. Deficiencies in the design has led to
a significant loss of time and a sharp decline in the quality of work performed,
respectively, increased heat loss, resulting in additional unnecessary costs.
Thus, the use of translucent facades, especially with selective multifunctional
glasses in our region is very problematic. Need for careful engineering preparation
of specialists of designers, constructors and architects. It is desirable to have a
relationship with the real suppliers that operate on the principle of "price –
quality".
