MCCARTER THEATRE CENTER WELCOMES FOUR NEW
MEMBERS TO ITS BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR 2016/2017

PRINCETON, NJ: At its inaugural meeting of the 2016/2017 season on September 29,
McCarter Theatre Center welcomed four incoming members to its Board of Trustees.
McCarter is pleased to add these distinguished community leaders to the existing roster of
outstanding local leaders, arts advocates, supporters, and business professionals dedicated
to the support of McCarter Theatre Center, Princeton’s Tony Award® -Winning theatre.
Joining the Board are:

Robert Mintz – Partner at the law firm of McCarter and English, LLP.

C. Schuyler Morehouse – President of Morehouse Engineering, Inc.

Kathleen Kund Nolan – Theater Education/Admin. Management Consultant.

Aquatia L. Owens – Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Director for the
Asset Management Group (AMG) at PNC Wealth Management.

McCarter Theatre Center Board Chair Leslie Kuenne said, “I’m incredibly happy to welcome
this new class of trustees. The amount of talent and heart present in this group of people is
absolutely sensational. Their fresh perspectives will further strengthen our board as we
work together to insure that McCarter remains one of the top producing and presenting
theaters in the nation”.
Timothy J. Shields, Managing Director for McCarter Theatre Center, said, “I have no doubt
that this group of new members will bring their invaluable experiences to the table, helping
us to deepen its commitment not only to our vital mission, but to the community at large.”
Incoming Board Members - biographies
ROBERT MINTZ
Bob is a returning McCarter Trustee and a partner at McCarter and English. He is a
nationally recognized authority on white collar criminal defense and corporate fraud issues.
He is the chair of the Government Investigations and White Collar Criminal Defense practice
group and a partner in the Business Litigation practice group. He joined the firm in 1998
after serving four years as Assistant Counsel to Governor Thomas H. Kean, and almost nine
years as an Assistant United States Attorney and Deputy Chief of the Organized Crime Strike
Force Division for the District of New Jersey.
C. SCHUYLER MOREHOUSE
C. Schuyler Morehouse is President of Morehouse Engineering, Inc., an engineering firm he
established in 1990. His firm has been involved in the design and construction of process
facilities within the manufacturing, water, wastewater, pharmaceutical, chemical,
petrochemical, and mining industries during the past 38 years. Prior to starting his own
firm, Mr. Morehouse was employed by Chevron, Bechtel and Metcalf and Eddy. In addition
to his professional career, Mr. Morehouse has been an active fan of the performing arts over
the course of his life.
KATHLEEN KUND NOLAN
Kathleen is a returning McCarter Trustee and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Campaign
for McCarter. In addition to her prior board service, Kathleen has served as Interim
Managing Director and General Manager at McCarter Theatre. Previously, she had served as
a management consultant for the theatre in the areas of education and administration and
as a volunteer. Her prior experience also includes service as the Business Manager and
Interim Managing Director at the Philadelphia Drama Guild.
Kathleen was a founding member of the Board of Trustees of the Pennsylvania Shakespeare
Festival at DeSales University and has served as a trustee of the New Jersey Theatre
Alliance. Kathleen served on the 25th Anniversary Gala Committee of the New Jersey
Theatre Alliance and on the Advisory Board of St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA.
Kathleen earned a B.A. in theatre from DeSales University.
AQUATIA OWENS
Aquatia is Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Director for the Asset
Management Group (AMG) at PNC Wealth Management. In this capacity, Aquatia manages a
team of professionals who comprehensively serve the complex financial needs of high-net
worth individuals and institutional clients, including new business development.
Aquatia joined PNC after more than 25 years at Merrill Lynch Bank of America and its
predecessor firms. Aquatia held a variety of leadership positions at Quick & Reilly, Fleet
Financial and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, including SVP, Market Executive for Premier
Banking and Investments in Westchester and Connecticut, Division Sales Performance
Executive for six markets and New England Market Executive for Global Wealth
Management & Investment Management (GWIM).
She is very active in her local and extended community both personally and professionally.
She previously served on the Board of Directors of SHARE, a member of the National
Association for Female Executives, a member of the Nassau Club in Princeton, NJ and her
commitment to community service is maintained through volunteer assignments with New
York Cares, The Girl Scouts of America, and educational empowerment programs.
