Cardiovascular Morphology and Education Unit at the
UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science / Great
Ormond Street Hospital, London, UK.

expertise in Cardiovascular Morphology including the textbooks “Wilcox's
Surgical Anatomy of the Heart” and “Fetal Echocardiography – A
Practical Guide”.

Hands-on session
Breakout session (Choose ONE of the following)
1. Surgical Wet Lab OR 2. TEE Simulation
*Each lecture consists of: - Cardiac morphology
- Imaging – echocardiography and/or cardiac MR
- Surgery / Treatment
- Discussion / Q&A
During this work, he has developed specific expertise in correlating
structure with imaging, fetal echocardiography and morphology,
simulation, and anatomy for device design.
Current areas of research are virtualisation of anatomy for simulation,
anatomy for device design, prenatal diagnosis, cardiac development and
the development of online professional training modules and courses.
