What should you have in your PowerPoint?
You are going to write a PowerPoint and present it to the class with your partners based on ANALOGIES for the function of the
most important cell organelles. You must have CORRECT information for each analogy.
For example: The cell is like a factory. It produces proteins just like the Aston Martin Factory produces cool sports cars.
The list of organelles and analogies that you must have for plant cells is: Animal cells do NOT have cell wall or chloroplasts
 The Plant Cell and Animal Cell (do analogies for both)
 Golgi Bodies
 Nucleus
 Nucleolus
 Nuclear membrane
 Mitochondria
 Ribosomes
 Cytoplasm
 Cell membrane
 Lysosomes
 Vacuoles
 Endoplasmic reticulum
 Cytoskeleton
 Cell wall (Only plants)
 Chloroplasts (only plants)
