Transport Platform TR-X TRACKING AND FLEET MANAGEMENT PLATFORM WITH CUSTOMIZATION CAPABILITY The Transport platform is designed to connect to a vehicle and provide location, vehicle diagnostics, and operation status to a server via a cellular data connection. It provides a host of interfaces and can be easily adapted to a variety of vehicles and target applications. The Transport platform supports OBD-II standard for diagnostics and real-time monitoring. With OTA (over-the-air) update capability; this device can be installed in a vehicle without removal concern. Discrete I/O circuits provide additional control over the vehicle such as starter disabling or door unlock. Advanced power supply circuitry design enables the flexibility to work in any type of vehicle. The Transport Device leverages Laird’s field and design experience with tracking devices, smart antennas, and M2M wireless modules to make this an ideal quality solution for the fleet management market.
