For Release: May 17, 2007 Contact: Chris Schellpfeffer, 608-251-7070 [email protected] Lindsay, Stone & Briggs and Marshfield Clinic Honored with Health Care Industry Award MADISON, Wis. – A fundraising video produced by Madison, Wis.-based Lindsay, Stone & Briggs for Marshfield Clinic has been awarded a national Aster Award for excellence in health care marketing, and will be recognized in the June issue of Marketing Healthcare Today magazine. The five-minute video seeking physician and employee donations for a capital campaign was produced to support fundraising efforts for Marshfield Clinic’s $40 million Laird Center for Medical Research. “We’re honored to receive this national recognition for our work,” said Bill Winchester, VP / Creative Director. “The video sends a message that medical research is critical to the future of healthcare. In it, we share the compelling stories of two families so greatly affected by the care they received at Marshfield Clinic and their desire to find cures for diseases, that they became donors themselves. The video can be viewed on Marshfield Clinic’s web site - http://srdweb1/clinic/laird/video.asp The 112,300-square-foot Laird Center for Medical Research is an addition to the existing Laird Center on the Marshfield Clinic campus, scheduled to open in 2008.
