UNDERGRADUATE GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
To be used with BSPS Curriculum
Description
The University requires specific coursework of all students who wish to receive a baccalaureate degree. These requirements are
defined as the General Education (GE) Requirements. Students in the BSPS program must complete the GE in addition to all other
degree requirements for graduation.
Requirements for the GE
Undergraduate students in the College of Pharmacy must complete the GE described below. You will find it helpful to consult the list
of Approved GE Courses which follows.
I.
Writing (6 hours)

First Course - three hours should be completed during the first year.
Second Course - three hours should be completed during the second year. The second writing course may double
count for another GE requirement if the course appears under both GE categories.
Social Science (6 hours)
One course must be taken from at least two of the following three groups:
