Wavefront & Centre d’entreprises et d’innovation de Montréal (CEIM) announce
Collaboration Agreement to boost Quebec’s wireless eco-system
system
The Centre d’entreprises et d’innovation de Montréal (CEIM) and Wavefront, Canada's National Centre
of Excellence for Wireless, are proud to announce their new collaboration to accelerate the growth of
Quebec companies active in Canada's wireless and Internet of Things eco-system.
Through this agreement, Wavefront and CEIM will jointly:
1. Establish a Wavefront Wireless Zone at CEIM in Montréal, featuring a device library of handsets,
tablets and carrier SIMs and M2M d
developer kits, to permit application developers to economically test
functionality, user interface, performance and compatibility with a complete range of wireless device and
operating system versions.
2. Provide access to strategic business and wireless industry expertise and connections to global markets,
from both CEIM and Wavefront,, to support the launch and/or growth of wireless technology-based
technology
companies.
3. Host events
vents and educational seminars to build knowledge and networks in Quebec’s wireless
community.
CEIM offers customized management support and related services for the start
start-ups and development of
companies in information technology, new media, clean and industrial technologies and life sciences
industries. CEIM’s
’s team of consultants and coaches is multidisciplinary, with hands

on business expertise.
CEIM provides start-ups
ups and early stage SMEs with the services they need, tailored to each project’s
specific requirements, at each step of their development. CEIM organizes special events and networking
activities on a regular basis, and offers office space, as needed, in Montréal’s Quartier de l’Innovation.
