PNB Course, Spring 2011
Proteins, Proteomics, and PostTranslational Modifications
PNB 6400, 1-credit
Instructor:
Daniel Schwartz ([email protected])
Time:
By arrangement
Location:
TBD
Permission: Permission numbers may be obtained by contacting the
instructor.
This one-credit graduate seminar will provide a survey of protein posttranslational modifications (e.g., phosphorylation, glycosylation,
sumoylation, acetylation, etc.), the low-throughput and high-throughput
methodologies used to discover their existence, and the online
computational resources to analyze and catalog them.
Weekly discussions will be based on journal article readings.
