Be able to respond to the following questions in an open
response format. These questions can be answered by the
readings and notes we have taken in class. If you need help,
see me before the test.
1. What is the Fertile Crescent and why is it named this? Where is it? What
modern day countries now occupy the land? Lesson One, Chapter Three and Lesson and

Name these in order, earliest to most current, and state their leaders and
